I Used To Love Her...

Moonlight illuminates her svelte figure. His eyes drank in her exquisite beauty. She is a picture of serenity, lying peacefully in his arms.

He let out a long drawn sigh….

“If only she didn’t nag so much” he lamented as he shoved her lifeless body into the freshly dug pit.

School's Out!

Just one more minute. One more agonising minute until summer vacation. Sally's eyes are trained on the clock, urging on the second hand.

Ten seconds left....

“RINGGGGG!!!”

Sally stormed from her desk, laughing hysterically.

The eight year olds stared in astonishment, mouth agape. Their Maths teacher has always been calm and composed.

Divine Intervention

Thunder rumbled overhead. Black clouds gathered ominously.

"The gods are angry! Bring me the sacrifice!”

The acolyte drags the child forward.

The priest raises his dagger….



CRRRACKKK!!!



A bolt of lightning hits the priest, killing him.

Sunlight penetrated the black sky. Dark clouds began to part.

The gods are appeased.
